Description: The Beatles - Please Please Me LP This is a Decca contract pressing, manufactured by Decca in summer 1963 when EMI were struggling to keep up with demand at their own pressing plant, and identifiable as such by the wide pressing ring and lack of a tax code and "GRAMOPHLTD" stamper character in runout. The sleeve has traces of historic tape residue, some laminate creasing and yellowing to rear along with a ballpoint written name and a couple of patches of light tape damage, but is still in decent overall shape with no splits or tears. The record has spindle marks, a few hairlines if held to the light and one 0.5cm line through Love Me Do. I've graded cautiously but, playwise, it's a strong VG+. I've had numerous copies of this LP, and this is probably the best-sounding of them. -- Please just ask any questions. I playtest all records - no guessing here.I am always happy to combine postage on multiple buys - please message me first for an exact quote.
