"The Banana Splits " Gold Key 1970 TV comic book signed Paul Winchell on cover!

Description: This is a Gold Key TV comic book ( #4, 1970) for "The Banana Splits" based on the Hanna Barbera Saturday morning TV series. This was autographed by legendary ventriloquist Paul Winchell, the voice of Fleegle the dog. This was autographed for me in 2004 at Mr. Winchell's final personal appearance in Santa Monica, CA. (See a photo taken at the time; snapshot not included in the auction.) It has been carefully kept for decades. The comic book is in excellent condition. Mr. Winchell simply signed in black permanent marker pen boldly across the top area. Beautiful signature! I am thinning out my rather extensive autograph collection and this is an exquisite piece that I have kept in a sleeve for preservation for decades. I am happy to include a signed Letter of Provenance if the purchaser requests. Of course, the watermark "ebay" does not appear on the item. Note: this is not some reprint of some nature...this is the actual autographed comic book up for auction.
