Description: The Baby Killers - Strategic bombing of England during World War One – CD Version - a printable card game. "The Baby Killers" is a simple, exciting, Card Game simulation of the first Battle of Britain - The Strategic Bombing of England by Germany during World War One. Players assume either the German or British sides in the struggle. The British population was so outraged by the bombings that they dubbed the Zeppelins "Baby Killers", hence the name of this game. The German's objective was to force the British to give up and sue for peace. The German player attempts to bomb either London or Secondary Targets with his or her Zeppelins or Bombers. The British Player attempts to Intercept the bombing raids. Each successful bombing raid contributes to a "Panic Level". Each successful intercept lowers the Panic Level. Included are cards for Zeppelins, Schutte Lanz Airships, German Bombers of various types, British Fighters of various types, Searchlights, Anti-Aircraft Batteries, Expert Pilots, and Expert Navigators, as well as other cards used in the game. Playing time is approximately 1 hour, and optional rules are included in the basic rule set. A 10 sided die is needed to play the game, along with a small coin, button, or token to record panic levels and turns. These items are not included. CD is Readable on Windows Compatible computers. Adobe Acrobat (c) reader (all versions tested) is required. Owners of the game use their own ink-jet or laser printer to make the components of the game on regular paper and standard business card stock. Printable .PDF files Included with the game: Rules of play, 2 sets of British Cards, 1 set of German Cards (all cards printed on standard business sized sheets, for a total of 3 sheets), Air Combat Results Table, Bombing Mission Outline, London Bombing Results Table, Secondary Target Bombing Results Table, Mechanical Failure Table, Panic Level Chart, Turn Record Chart, and Weather and Navigation Table. Also included are Notes on Printing to business card stock. There are no returns on this item, but defective CD’s will be replaced free of charge upon return of the defective CD to me.
