Description: Portable oscilloscope originally designed for IBM. Lots of info including the manual available on the internet. The pictures show a sine wave at 600kHz from an HP-200CD audio generator (not included in the sale) and the square wave from this oscilloscope's own calibrator. The functions I tested appear fully operational. Also, the low voltage supply and the HV supply are within specification. The pictures show the extent of testing that was done, not all functions were tested and so must be sold as for parts or not working per ebay's definitions . However, the fact there is a trace at different vertical and horizontal settings means the high voltage, power supply, calibrator and basic circuits are working. Refurbishment included checking the ESR on all electrolytic capacitors and replacing two of them (C630 and C240), replacing several paper caps that appeared problematic (C315, C701 and C705), replacing the vacuum HV diodes with high grade solid state diodes and replacing the four high voltage caps in the HV circuit. Most of these are visible in the photos. This instrument was made about 60 years ago and may not continue working satisfactorily without some maintenance such as replacing capacitors. . The handle is in good condition but has a couple of dings toward one end, see pictures. The only item in this sale other than the oscilloscope itself is the UHF to BNC connector which is shown installed on the input to the scope. No power cords, probes, the HP-200CD or anything else that may be in the pictures is included! Just the Tek 310A and the BNC adapter. Sold AS IS. THIS IS VINTAGE EQUIPMENT WHICH MAY NOT CONTINUE TO OPERATE AS SHOWN. Will be very well packed - see my feedback. Sorry, but NO international shipping, and NO SALE to any purchaser located outside of the continental United States.
