Description: Here's a beautiful teal blue early 1800 "Persian Saddle Flask" bottle free blown in the 1800s with pontil scar. ....free blown glass bottle with crude drippy applied string of glass wrapping 6 times around the lower neck.....Free blown with no mold seams......rough pontil scar with some iron deposit on sunken bottom ......crude hollow ring collar....pretty teal blue color (more blue than normal).....7 3/4"tall x 5"wide............Crude blown glass with small bubbles...Excellent condition with no chips or damage of any kind. A nice clean bottle with only some light haze. The bottle has a crude bottom with a wobble, but stands upright on its own and wont tip over. A great looking early utility bottle that is termed "Persian Saddle Flask" by collectors. They were blown in the 1700s and 1800s... ...
