The delineated eagle was used until ca. 1955. The number on the eagle’s chest indicates either the city of essay or an individual marker. Eagle stamp #3 was for Taxco.A truly unique necklace, each link has been shaped and fused by hand. Each rectangle link in this necklace is approximately 1/2 inch long by 1/8 inch wide. Each link is connected by a rectangular textured jump rings that have been fused closed. This beautiful necklace is secured with a hand forged sterling silver hook clasp. The fine silver has been darkened and polished to bring out the texture details. The markings on the clasp show sterling, an eagle with stamp #3 for Taxco, and a bear claw for the individual artisan.
