Description: This exquisite statement Demi Parure is Featured in Carole Tanenbaum's book "Fabulous Fakes" (p. 142)under unsigned beauties. Tanenbaum writes, “conceived by artistic talents, perhaps for the fashion runway, where bold statements were necessary to match the exaggeration of haute couture collections." The design elements of these pieces make it likely from the Art Deco period. The bracelet features aged embossed and scrolled brass panels. The bottom layer of each panel is attached to the top by brass cylinders which can be seen as it is worn on the wrist. The bracelet is embellished with brown speckled art glass cabochons,and pear and round shaped green rhinestones. There is a safety chain as well. The earrings continue the theme of the bracelet with the embossed brass, cabochons , and green rhinestones. In addition fine brass fringe at their bottoms add movement to the pieces. The bracelet measures 6.75” in length, and 1.5” at its widest part, and 7/8” high Earrings measure 1.5” in length, and 7/8 “ wide .
