It can be used in food trucks and recreational vehicles, or as a buffer in a DHW recirculation loop. It saves water and electricity by putting hot water right where it is needed. The small tank and excellent insulation reduces stand-by losses compared with larger tank water heaters. Used in conjunction with a hot water tank it allows immediate hot water draws without waiting for a long pipe run to purge itself of cold water. Lightweight and compact, an SHC easily mounts under or near a sink with its included bracket. Once filled with water, it simply plugs into a 120-Volt outlet. No special wiring is required. A T and P valve is pre-installed.
