Please note that in an effort to make the film feel like "you walked into a comic book," the filmmakers used stylistic blurring and varied the frame rates between 24 and 12 images per second, along with various other stylistic techniques. These effects were fully intended by the filmmakers, and are not symptoms of your disc, player, or TV being defective. This item was imported from Germany, this is why German writing appears on the packaging. This is also why the cover uses the German title of "Spider-Man: A New Universe" (instead of the American title "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse"). These discs support the original English audio track and subtitles, but please note that there are some "thought bubbles" that pop up on-screen during the movie that are in German text. These "thought bubbles" are ingrained in German and cannot be changed to English. (In most instances, what Miles Morales is thinking in the thought bubbles is generally what he's going to say immediately after.) The discs are region-free so they will play on any Blu-ray player.
