Description: This mug was sold as a souvenir during a 2006-2007 exhibit at the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City. The exhibit was sponsored by Museo Amparo. The full title of the exhibit was, Persia: Fragments of Paradise- Treasures From the National Museum of Iran. The main objective of the exhibition was to show a general and chronological view of the Iranian nation, from its prehistoric origins to events that occurred at the beginning of the 20th century. The central spirit of the exhibition was to demonstrate that the current Iranian people are the result of a mixture of cultures with different origins. The exhibit opened November 22, 2006, and closed June 25, 2007. The mug is just under 10 cm tall, or less that 8 in tall. It is in wonderful condition, but with minor scuffing on the bottom rim. The brand appears to be Santa Anita.
