Description: Shelly Manne 2-item Lot - Modern Jazz Performances of Songs from My Fair Lady (CD and LP). The vinyl LP was originally released on Contemporary Records in 1956. The remastered CD was first issued in 1988. What's good: The CD is in like new, excellent condition. What could be better: The LP cover shows edge wear and fading around its perimeter. The reverse side is also faded due to age. The playing surface of the vinyl is in very good condition with no deep scratches, impacted dirt or fingerprints. Still, the LP is over 60 years old, and it is hardly mint. I would say it is a presentable copy for the music, and I would give it a grade of B. The CD is in A+ condition. The music is wonderful. Manne, Previn and Vinnegar were all jazz masters on their instruments. Both the LP and CD are stereo mixes. Please view photos. I ship within one business day of purchase.
