The maple wood tabletops are sanded, burnt, 3 layers of polyurethane and nestled snuggly in a handmade, welded angle iron frame. The legs are created in a box shape for a secure and unique look and are welded to the angle iron frame. All the metal is primed and painted black with a polyurethan finish. The thing about this side table is that it will look great in a farmhouse or in a modern setting, can be used as nightstands and outdoors and will blend perfectly in any décor. We have always been ambitious with our creations and really hope you enjoy this one! ================================ What is shipped: 2 Maple and Metal Side Tables ================================ These side tables are made of: 1/2“ round stock metal that is cut and welded into the bottom half frame (table legs) 3/4“ angle iron metal cut and welded into a frame and welded to the round stock legs 3/4”x20”x8” maple board that is sanded and burnt 3 layers of polyurethane Color of the metal frame is black Color of the wood is natural Dimensions PER table: 20 inches tall by 8.5 inches wide by 20.5 inches deep Weight PER table: 12 pounds each ================================ How do I maintain it? Even though there are several layers of paint and polyurethane to protect this product; with all metal, there is a chance of rusting over the years. To prevent rust over long wear, it’s always a good idea to wipe down the entire table with a wet towel, dry it off and then add a light coat of semi-gloss polyurethane spray to it every year. Include the wood when you are spraying. There is no assembly required. ================================ The metal is rinsed with water and then cleaned with mineral spirits and smoothed out so the edges are not sharp. We prime the entire metal portion and then paint it and coat it with polyurethane it for protection and a nice semi-gloss finish. The wood is sanded and burnt for extra protection and a really different look. It may be used both indoors and outdoors.
