Description: Maker: No signature or maker's mark appears on this very beautiful and richly decorated cabinet plate. Stylistically and in the quality of the porcelain, it appears to have originated in Germany in the earlier part of the 20th century. But with no marks, that is not confirmed; its age and country of origin are unknown. The plate's mold and design resemble works of the Schlegelmilch factories but that too is only speculation. Design: Delicate pink and white roses on a pale cream center lie within a band of turquoise that fades to pale aqua. A single rose drops down from a gold scrollwork band and a thin band of fine raised gold leaves and tiny pink roses is at the edge. Size: The plate is 9 inches wide and weighs 11.4 ounces. Condition: It's in excellent condition with no marks, nicks, chips, cracks, stains, discoloration, repairs, crazing or significant wear. There is light wear to the gold edge. Please check all the photos very carefully – they are an important part of the description.
