Description: Now is your chance to own a rad piece of Seiko history! Seiko released this gem in conjunction with the Tokyo Olympics in 1964. And this one in particular has held up great. It’s difficult to find these with the correct crown, pusher, unpainted dial, etc. but I believe this one meets all of that criteria for us Seiko nerds. And it’s running great! The seconds hand snaps back to noon with no issues. And I just replaced the crystal with a NOS Seiko crystal. The case has surface scratches throughout but still has its original case lines and sharp edges. You can even still (faintly) see the sea horse on the case back. The bidirectional bezel rotates smoothly. The silver sunburst dial has started to patina, almost having a slightly purple hue in some lighting. The watch will come the crocodile leather straps pictured and an additional brown leather strap.
