The platen has new rubber installed and all other rollers are in excellent condition. Hermes platens do not age well and become rock hard and cracked with age. A freshly recovered platen improves print quality, touch, type bar action, sound, type life, ribbon life and paper feed. It is a must to have a new roller in any Hermes of this age. This Hermes is all original with the exception of the rubber on the platen and the ribbon, nothing has been touched up or repainted. Comes with one cleaning brush and original owners manual.
