Description: For auction is near brand new Scottish basket hilted back sword (single edge blade) made by Hanwei/Paul Chen. Sword features a 33 & 1/2 inch long steel blade with a nice sharp factory edge, sword is roughly 40 inches in overall length.. Blade is marked in small letters Andrea Ferrara on both sides. Basket has a mottled antique look. Has a sharkskin wrapped grip with a cloth liner. This doesnt have the dark red frizzles/tassles under the pommel cap and it didnt come with any when I acquired it. Sword is full tang combat ready and can be dis-assembled by unscrewing the pommel. Scabbard is black leather over a wood core. This sword was supposedly copied from one that is on display in the Tower of London dating from the Jacobite 1730's-40's era. Free shipping for US buyers. No international shipping.
