Description: Here we have a nice piece of international currency. This is a 1 pound sterling note from Scotland, 1997 issue. Overall condition is excellent, with one soft fold in the middle, and the pictures are an honest representation of this currency. There seems to be a lack of consensus about grading currency, but following the standards of the Paper Currency Guide I'll call this XF. I acquired this during a UK business trip in 1999. In my collection for over 25 years and ready to take a place in yours. The photos are of the very note you are bidding on, not a "similar" item.
