They were intended for a mining rig that was never finished. They have had zero mining/hash time while I have owned them. I am unaware or their history before my purchase but they are functional. I believe they can be flashed with a gaming bios, but do so at your own risk. I believe they may have been refurbished by the manufacturer as all have an intact warranty sticker but have fans that have Sapphire stickers instead of NITRO and the original covers on the DVI port.The card pictured in the listing has a sticker was rubbed on accident.
