With a sterling silver head and body, made by the same makers of the beloved Haynes Amadeus flutes, these flutes produce a stunning rich, full and mature sound with stunning projection! The Samperi Pinnacle flutes were made for Weissman music company, with special headjoint improvements made by Jeff Weissman, a well known NY flute maker. This flute would be most comparable to the Haynes Amadeus AF 780. Specs: -Sterling Silver Handcut Headjoint -Sterling Silver Body and Foot -Open Hole -Offset G -B Foot joint -Pointed Key Arms For context, our partner company sells this same model new at over $3k! This flute has seen quite some use but still has some life left in her. There are spots of plating wear on some keys and on the body (pre-pro flutes have a silver tube, with a copper&silver plated layer on top to match the keys and speed up the polishing process). Some other parts of the finish has lost it's luster, but can be brought back with some polishing from a good tech. This flute plays most of the notes as is, but the notes below low F are airy and are hard to play, and will need a servicing and adjustment from your local music shop. Most used flutes will need a maintenance service prior to playing. This runs 100-199 at most general shops. The pads are all in tact and are functional. Many of them are older, so you may want to budget in some pad replacements in the future ;) We've priced this flute at an extremely affordable price to sell quickly! Because we're offering at such a good deal, we are selling this flute as-is. This was a trade-in and we don't have the time to service and re-sell it.
