He was a 4 time All-Star, 1989 Silver Slugger winner, 1989 AL RBI leader and is a member of the Rangers Hall of Fame. Overall he hit .268 with 2152 hits, 306 homers and 1322 RBI during his career. The Puerto Rican born Sierra was popular with Latino fans everywhere he played and as a switch hitter with power, was a coveted part of many of the organizations he played with.
