Description: Ridgway English BEDFORD WARE HYFIELD Salad Plate We are pleased to offer this lovely salad plate in the HYFIELD pattern manufactured by Ridgways of England on the Bedford Ware shape. The Ridgway Company manufactured beautiful earthenware and porcelain in England from 1808 to 1855. This luncheon plate features a border of yellow hand-painted flowers with green leaves. The plate measures 8" in diameter. It has a ribbed band and black trim lines. The backstamp reads: "Ridgways Hand Painted Bedford Ware Made in England." It has light discoloration and crazing from age; otherwise it is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks.
