Richard Mille Automatic Watch Winder Box!!! Unit #2, READ DESCRIPTION!!!

Description: Up for sale is a Richard Mille Automatic Watch Winder Box!!! This is a higher end automatic watch winder made by Richard Mille. This watch winder works just fine but it does have some caveats you as the buyer should be aware of. This is a used item, and is not new. It does come with the original box. Cosmetically, there are no major signs of damage or scratches or anything like that. - Watch winder front door works fine to open and close with the button at the top. The front door does not close all the way though, and there is a small gap basically when closed if you are looking at it from the top/bottom. This is negligible, and does not affect functionality.- The battery compartment piece is not solidly held within the piece, and can come in and out. I am not sure if it is supposed to do this or not, it does make it easier to change the battery, but if you are holding the piece the battery slot piece may come out a bit. When stationary, this is not an issue.- The rubber on the entire unit had started to get sticky. Typically when this happens with other items I have sold in the past, I tend to remove the sticky rubber with the use of isopropyl alcohol. This is very effective. I bet you can see where this is going. It is so effective, it removed the "Richard Mille" logo on the back side of the box. Whoops! I have one other unit for sale which I did not do this for after what happened. The plus side here is the box is no longer sticky, the downside is the logo is no longer there. Rest assured, this is still a Richard Mille piece, just logo-less.- The watch holder insert piece itself had both the sides crack and break in the plastic. This has been repaired with super glue on one side, but is probably not very effective. It will still work in the winder, but you'll probably want to get a new watch pillow or insert at some point. This unit runs on two standard C batteries, which are not included. This unit does not plug in, so it just runs on the battery. It comes with one watch holder for larger watches which condition is as noted above. All said and done, this is still a working piece. The front doors are motorized and open and close at the push of a button. The watch winder portion also still works. It is not without its own quirks though! With the closest other used unit on eBay (from another seller) more than $1k more than this one, I'd say this is still a pretty good deal.
