Description: Stunning Antique Ceiling Light A gorgeous piece of true antique lighting. It has been polished, freshly rewired and the paint has been updated and lacquered for years of use to come. No maker's marking, however it seems to be in the style and material of the Riddle Company lighting. This piece does have a similar casting to another chandelier we have that is stamped "Metropolitan Columbia Mfg Co" which from our research was a lighting company as far back as 1930. The sockets have all been cleaned, tested and are working well. Made of cast aluminum with brass chain, pole and ceiling mount. Add or remove chain links to adjust the height, if needed. The colors are bronze, gold, copper and a touch of blue. Use 5 standard-base light bulbs up to 60 watts each, or use LED bulbs for any brightness you like, as they use low wattage for bright light. The faceted light bulbs shown are not included - they are examples of a style you might like. You can search "decorative round light bulbs" online and find all kinds to choose from.
