Retired 7-pc HOME INTERIORS Golfer's Picture Grouping

Description: Up for auction is a very pretty 7 piece grouping from HOME INTERIORS. Included is a picture, shelf, sconce, votive cup, plaque, figurine and greenery. This grouping is discontinued and still in very good condition. The picture measures approx. 17 7/8" x 10 3/4" and is titled "The Course of Life". It has a very nice green & brown molded resin frame. The picture contains this poem by Ken Brown: Life isn't always fairway, Life isn't always par; It isn't always easy To go from where you are. The rough may oft' impede you On the journey toward your goal, Or an unexpected hazard Might take a heavy toll. Keep strong your faith and patience Midst all life's ups and downs, And trust your silent partner Who guides you through life's rounds. Above the poem is a pretty scene of a golf course and below the poem is a golfer swinging a club. It is a very pretty picture and is in very good condition with hook on the back to hang by.The shelf is solid wood. It is called the "Country Home Shelf" and measures approx. 30" x 5" x 9". It comes with two plate grooves, a rail on the bottom and two hooks on the back to hang by. It is also in very good condition. To sit on the shelf is an ivy bush. It is called the "Silver Nerve Plant" and measures approx. 24" long. Also placed on the shelf is a figurine of a golfer. It is not from Home Interiors but matches nicely with the grouping. It is a gentleman in brown knickerbockers, probably from the 1920's, holding a golf ball in one hand and a golf club under his other arm. It measures approx. 10 3/4" x 4 1/2" and is mounted on a wooden base. It too is in very good condition.Next is a molded resin mirrored sconce. It is called the "Country Haven Mirrored Sconce" and measures approx. 11 1/4" x 3 1/2" x 4". It also has the same green & brown color as the other pieces. It is also in very good condition with hook on the back to hang by.To go with the sconce is a clear votive cup. It is called the "Chantilly Votive Cup" and measures approx. 4" x 3". It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.Finally to finish off this pretty grouping is a plaque. It is called the "Golf Plaque" and measures approx. 11 7/8" x 5 7/8". It is dated 1998 on the back and is made of molded resin. It matches the colors in the picture perfectly with the same green and brown as the picture frame and sconce. It has a lady and guy golfer, golf bag, flag 18 and green bushes around the word GOLF. It is really cute. It is in excellent condition with two hooks on the back to hang by.This grouping is very pretty and would look great in most any room. It would be perfect & unique for the golfer.
