Description: New Reproduction Pair of pegs. Red/Green fire/safe peg indicators used on Mossberg 22s and bolt action shotguns from 1938-1986. Slightly different than the originals, but as close as I have found. Approx. Measures (inches): .19 OD x .30 long. Shaft .12 OD They work better if you clean out the hole in the stock first. With a drill bit by hand around .109 dia. I also usually clip off about an 1/8" off the length of these pegs before install. I gently tap with a non metal hammer. I also had a customer comment The RED/F insert I drilled out 7/64 for a nice tight slip fit in, but I also then drilled out the GREEN/S insert for the same 7/64, but found the green insert was quite smaller, dropped in/dropped out, so had to add a touch of glue ... guessing 3/32 would be a tight slip fight on the green Pegs ONLY, no sight included.Lincoln cent shown for size reference only.
