Description: Real acorns from Burr Oak trees. Fresh 2024 crop. Smaller size, 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch. Can be used to feed squirrels, or for crafts, or to plant oak trees. These will be stored in the refrigerator to keep fresh. If the nut falls out of the shell and you are going to use it for crafting, you may place a drop of glue in the bottom of the shell and glue the nut back in. They will emerge as oak seedlings in the spring if planted about an inch deep in the fall (or so that it is covered with half inch of soil) with shell off. 50+ acorns per pkg. There are also acorn nuts without shells on the site. NOTE The nuts are directly from nature, so there may be an occasional white worm that comes out and is in mesh packaging bottom. (Pkg. # 1)
