Edges on top are a bit wavy (of course with handmade pottery ~unique) and I tried to show that the glaze is fully intact so it's not a chip. While this is pre-owned there is no signs of wear inside the dish. The darkened areas are part of the design, not dirty from dirt...The base is a little gritty, because it's unglazed. There is a small dip on base, smooth and colored the same...so not sure if that an old chip or just from how it was made.
