This is an early work of Harry Bush... and is actually 2 frames of a 'story'. Jock in a tiny speedo & baseball cap.. with ball and bat - even though there's a sign that says "Do Not Play Ball on the Boardwalk"... so he catches the eye of a studly cop. By the second frame-- the cop must have confiscated his ball... since it appears to be missing from his speedo as the cop moves out of frame. Harry Bush - the legendary GAY artist from the 50s & 60s & 70s. He got his start at PHYSIQUE PICTORIAL and also created art work for Touch, Stroke & DRUMMER magazines. This was purchased years ago with many other GAY prints. We are not certain of the age or the history... BUT--- we've been told that this was a mail order purchase from Bob Mizer's PHYSIQUE PICTORIAL --- we've included the ad for reference. On the backside, "BUSH -D-6 5" is written in pencil in large font. 8' x 10" print. The paper is lightly wavy (at the top and bottom), but in otherwise very nice condition with a somewhat glossy finish. Must be some kind of photographic paper. We've also included for reference... a shot of the image from HARD BOYS... (which we also have up for sale!!). Obviously.. these are for reference only.
