Description: Rare antique BRC Moliere fine porcelain hand painted bowl from Germany. Beautiful contrast of the wide dark green and gold border and the delicate daisies in a wildflower setting. The pierced sections give a lace-like look along with embossed ridges and waves. There are raised edges around the petals adding light and depth to the scene. (5th pic) There are 2 cut-out handles. The gilt is in very good condition (see pics). There is a tiny area where the glaze/paint has flaked off (see last pic). I do not believe it affects the beauty of the plate much if at all. I only noticed it when taking close up photos and then I kept losing track of where it was. It is noted so you have full information.The back marks were used between 1897 and 1903.Bowl is about 10" in diameter and about 1 1/2" H.A unique opportunity for the collector or for a precious gift.
