Artists from India,the United Kingdom,Canada,Sweden,Finland and Hong Kong have come together in the first International Drawings and Graphic Prints Exhibition,2011. An initiative by the Society for Development of Films and Arts,a foundation set up in 1999 for the promotion of art,the exhibition features 185 works and is being held at two galleries the Art Gallery of Government College of Art and Exhibition Hall of Government Museum and Art Gallery. Suresh Pushpakar,General Secretary of the organisation,says,We dont have a jury which selects works of artists,we believe an artist is the best judge of his/her own work and budding artists need a platform,along with senior people,which we strive to provide. Among the artists are senior names like Seema Murtaza as well as several students of the College of Art.
