Description: This antique poster was a promotional piece used from city to city by Swami Yogananda when he first came to America from India, and was on a coast to coast lecture tour in the States. This poster was produced in the 1920's by Western Litho Co. in Los Angeles, before he became PARAMAHANSA (title bestowed on him by his Guru, at a later time) YOGANANDA. Some of these early posters were never used and went into deep storage. Self Realization Fellowship brought them out of storage and made them available to the Fellowship for individual purchase in 1993, until they were all sold. There is a certificate of authenticity, signed by Ananda Mata ( sister of Sri Days Mata, late President of SRF), and, you have to believe that these posters were probably consecrated, at some time in the early years, by the Master, Himself. The Poster comes in the original mailing tube used by SRF, with the original brown paper and plastic covering used by SRF for mailing protection. Please inspect photos carefully to determine condition.
