Description: This Pre-WW1 Argentine Army M1909 Mauser Sword Bayonet & Steel Scabbard is in good, clean condition overall and only shows expected signs of age and service. The blade is well marked; one side is stamped "Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Cie Solingen," the reverse side is stamped "MODELO ARGENTINO 1909," "K2165" as well as with the Argentine crest. A variety of other stamps and markings are present on different parts of this bayonet, including an Argentine property mark, and they can be seen clearly in the photographs. The blade is clean but does show evidence of handling and use, however no damage from abuse or neglect can be detected. The wood grips are in good condition and only show mild evidence of age and handling. The press stud on the pommel is free and appears to function as you would expect. The steel scabbard is also in good condition without any serious damage or dents. A variety of stamps are also present on the scabbard, as well as matching serial number "K2165." Please examine the photographs carefully for the best description of contents and condition.
