I have completely rebuilt this PS3 ( I have many years of experience with repairing and refurbishing consoles as well as expert SOC and standard soldering experience, basically I do know what I am doing) so the unit has no dust inside I have also de-lid the RSX GPU and cleaned it, replaced all the thermal paste between the RSX and it’s heat spreader along with new thermal paste on the CELl CPU, breathing new life into the PS3. The system has been soak tested with both GT6 and TLOU both graphic intense games. Over a 24 hour period, including rest periods to cool and heat up again. CMOS battery has been replaced for many more years of use. Comes with a genuine metallic blue controller which has been tested and holds a good charge, official PS3 controller is required to play PS2 games. Tested with all PS1,2and 3 games pictured. The HDD has been upgraded to a 500 GB 2.5inch SSD (Samsung evo) New original security seal. Firmware version 4.91. If you want a 20 or 40gig drive for the system I do have original PS3 ones and can throw that in as well if requested.
