Made for Peterson by Laxey (Isle of Man, Man Pipes, Manxman, Manx) on the Isle of Man, Great Britain. Laxey was know for their work with African meerschaum pipes, who made pipes for Peterson, Barling, Nørding, and in their own right. This style of finish, often seen and referred to as “Aboriginal”, was produced in many of the Meerschaum shapes carved by Laxey. In this rendition, it exhibits a rich paneling of grain and textured, resulting in a rather inviting feel to the hand. The vulcanite stem is comfortable, with a P-Lip button. This particular pipe smokes like a dream, is unique, and is seldom seen.
