Description: Sulpice-Guillaume Chevalier, also called Paul Gavarni; draughtsman, watercolorist, lithographer; 1801 or 1804-1866; lithograph titled "Sauvage De N' Importe Ou Et Tambour De La Garde Nationale"; published in "Revue et Gazette Musicale" around 1844-45; printer is Thierry Freres, Paris; paper has yellowed with age and there is a stain on lower left; the bottom and right edges are not straight but the overall size is the same that I have seen in other places; sheet size is 8 7/8" by 12 1/8"; image size is 5 7/8" by 7 9/16"; It is attached at the top to a display page and I didn't try to remove it; I have not noticed any tears; smoke free home
