Description: 25-429 Today we're offering a fantastic Asian, most likely Chinese brass smoking pipe purchased from an estate. This pipe looks quite old but we do not know if it is an original antique or a reproduction. It looks like it has been smoked but we do not detect any tobacco odor or ash. It's beautifully made, with elaborate, raised decoration all along the stem and bowl. The hinged lid is a tortoise or turtle. The brass is a lovely bronze color and is quite heavy.
