Description: For your consideration is an original M35 German steel helmet, in the rare large size 68 (size 61 liner), with manufacture code "NS" indicating maker Vereinigte Deutsche Nikelwerke AG, with a lot number of # 6222. The heat stamps are crisp. This was previously restored and then painted in the tri-color Normandy camouflage scheme of yellow, brown, and green on top of a wood chip texture. The helmet has been aged for a more subdued camo effect. Liner has a vintage-looking dark hue with a size 61 stamp. Would be great for your Reenactor kit or display shelf. Thanks for looking.
