Description: An original 1915 Gnomonic Star Atlas by Reynold Young, designed to "facilitate the observation of meteors and the plotting of their paths." The atlas originally consisted of 13 maps plus the cover sheet. This one is missing maps 2 and 3. Each map is about 11" x 9" and attractively drawn and composed. Poor condition as shown. All the maps are tattered on the edges as shown, with mild staining and a few handwritten notes. The paper is still supple and not brittle. The maps display very well. A wonderful piece of history and an awesome addition to any collection. I ship every day the post office is open with your item safely packed the way it deserves to be.
