And they could easily be mistaken for new boots by an onlooker. Close examination reveals that all surfaces are clean with no flaws or blemishes. The insides are also clean. The only physical evidence of their one or two times worn is a whisper of friction on the bottoms as well as signs of floor contact. And that is it! Overall these boots are about 97-99% the same as new in this seller's opinion. They do not have the new price and are thus a great value. The faux suede uppers look and feel like genuine suede. The color is light cocoa brown. It looks very similar to cocoa mix while still in powder form. The outer side top of each has a decorative tab with gold stud on it. The inner side of each has a full-length zipper to aid in putting on/removal. The shaft height is just a little bit above the ankles but not nearly high enough to qualify for mid-calf. The heel height is two and a half inches as measured from the sides. The labels for the size (inside and on the bottoms) show "10W" and the "W", in shoe abbreviation language, denotes wide width.
