Sale of this item is for the shim washer kit only.What's in the Package"1x .060" Thrust washer1x .080" Thrust washer1x .100" Thrust washer1x instruction Sheet1x YAK Hobby DecalSuper easy to install with a Exacto knife, Philip's screw driver and a 1/4" deep well socket / ratchet / extension comboHow to Install:#1 Peel Old Town Center medallion off using the Exacto Knife to lift the edge. This will expose the Head of the rudder pivot bolt#2 Remove the 4x Phillips head bolts from the base of the control and lift it up from the hull to expose the bottom side#3 Using the socket ratchet combo w the Philips head screw driver. loosen and remove the center pivot bolt.#4 Remove the upper rudder control handle from the base to expose the splined shaft.#5 Next select a thrust washer and slip it over the shaft. We suggest starting with the smaller .060" thick washer.#6 Re-assemble in the reverse order from the disassembly process.#7 Adjust the tension / drag of the handle by loosening / tightening the center pivot bolt until the desired resistance is achieved.Note: Thicker shims may be added and subtracted as well to achieve the desired tension.CONSTRUCTION:This product is extruded from High Temp UV material in our facility here in Buford Georgia!WARRANTY:This Item is covered by our manufacturing defect warranty.
