The rubber covered metal hooks swing up and down and can be used to hold brooms and other such items with a pole type handle or can be used to store any other items with the hooks.... sporting goods, clothing.... Carlo Bartoli worked as a designer for Accademia, Antonangeli, Arclinea, Arflex, Artelano, Colombo Design, UCG Confalonieri, Con & Con, Ernesto Meda, Matteo Grassi, Kartell, Merati, Rimadesio, Rossi di Albizzate, Segis, Tisettanta, Varenna-Poliform, Ycami and other manufacturers. His most widely recognized design is that of the #4875 plastic chair for Kartell. Marked on the back of the piece "Con & Con Made in Italy Designed by C. Bartoli Art 231 Portascope" Comes with the mounting screws and is in the original packaging. This measures 11.5" wide and is 3" in height. When installed it protrudes about 1". ****PLEASE NOTE**** The one that I unpackaged to put together for photos had a bit of greasiness on the rubber that coats the hooks du to age.
