Lettering on bottom of base: PROPERTY OF U.S. Very clear. For best description of condition - see photos please - ask questions as needed. Trap has no repairs, trapper's marks or other major defects. There is a springlike device under the pan - I do not know if this was done at the factory or added later. Returns accepted with full refund if you are not satisfied.
