To change from TIG to Plasma operation, both the input gas supply, regulator and the torches must be swapped over. Only one torch can be connected at any given time. Remember: The TIG and plasma torch are always connected to the negative terminal. Generally, the Stick holder is connected to the positive terminal for most welding electrodes. NOTE: For use with generators, this welder requires a MINIMUM of 10,000 watts of continuous output and be designated as "clean power" by the generator manufacturer. For best results, a higher output generator may be required. Use with generators not designated by the generator manufacturer as a "clean" power source may void warranty.
