Last week I was searching the online IL marriage database for the marriage of the sister of a great great grandfather. Her maiden was a Doolin and she married a Gensler. I tried the normal searches for Doolin - Dool*, Dul* and searched for the spouse by Gen* and came up empty. I then checked the printed records for the county in which I suspected the marriage to be found. I found the couple listed as Doonline and Kensler.
