Description: My mother went through a Pampered Chef phase, and she purchased a lot of items she never used. This cookie/candy mold is one such item. It's a cutie, but my daughter and I will never use it, either. This discontinued vintage clay cookie mold comes in the original box along with a brochure that offers ways to use this mold for cookies, chocolate, and even tissue paper decorations. The mold is true clay, with an Amish-like decorative finish that includes flowers, butterflies, and a heart on a vine within a heart-shaped mold. The mold is heavy (a little over 12 ounces) and rather large at 6" wide and 5" tall. The mold is almost 5/8" deep and the inner mold is about 1/4" deep. The back of the mold is inscribed with the words, "Garden of the Heart/Pampered Chef Ltd [registration mar]/1996 U.S.A." The heart has a hole in the top for hanging. The mold is in excellent "like new" shape as it has never been used. The box is a little less new for the wear. The tab has been broken, one edge of the box is torn, and the edges of the box are worn from storage and moving. With that said, this is a remarkable piece that would make a fine gift or wall decoration. Stored in non-smoking environments its entire life.
