Since I have had a non-paying bidder on this car last year and about 2 non-paying bidders every month on my listings here for the last 2 years or so, I now have to require immediate PayPal payment to end my many "Buy It Now" listings here. In order to do that, eBay requires that I list a delivery charge for this vehicle. That is hard for me to do since I really have no idea where it might need to be delivered to when it sells. Thanks a lot, Bob Woodburn phonne 4O6-799-1847 This listing is for a very special 1952 Plymouth Cranbrook station wagon that is totally unlike any you will ever see again. It has been vandalized over a period of the last 60 years or so by many different rodent and big game hunters that happened to drive by it. This car is what Bonnie & Clyde's vehicle might have looked like if they had been robbing banks 20 to 25 years after they originally did. They were ambushed and died in a tan 1934 Ford Fordor sedan back in the mid nineteen thirties. This Plymouth is NOT connected with Bonnie & Clyde in any way other than it has even more bullet holes than their 1934 Ford had. My recently deceased friend's wife was driving it to their ranch home in North Dakota one day back in the 1960's when it stopped running for some unknown reason. Her husband was more of a cowboy than a mechanic so he pulled it off of the dirt trial leading to their home and never touched it again other than to remove the wheels and tires for later use on some other vehicle. I have no idea how many bullet holes are in this gem in the rough but I would guess it has to be over 500. Some of the larger holes may have been penetrated by so many shots that one has no idea what that number might be. Since all of the glass is gone, there is no way to know how many bullets were wasted knocking it out. The right or passenger's side of this vehicle has been hit many more times than the left or driver's side has. That is because the right or passenger's side side faces the road which is more like a trail in the dirt than it is a road. The hunters driving by could shoot at the right or passenger's side of this car from their vehicle. Any holes in the left or driver's side required someone to leave their vehicle and walk around this Plymouth in order to shoot at the left or driver's side. I believe this wreck would be the ultimate attention getter as a sign base for a sign used to advertise a restaurant, bar, motel, casino, store, repair shop, parts house, automobile dealership, rental warehouse, gun shop or any other kind of business. There was once a gun shop here in Bozeman that was called "The Bullet Hole". This car would have been ideal for advertising that business. One could use this gem as the base for a neon or otherwise lighted sign. A very crafty individual could even use electric motors to make all four of the wheels turn at around 30 RPM or so to draw even more attention to this one of a kind vehicle on display. One could even paint spirals on all four of the rotating wheels and even make them alternate between turning ahead and backwards to really make a very special sign out of this car. It would be nearly impossible to build something like this from a better car today. The cost of the ammunition would be fairly significant. The time and chemicals required to remove some of the paint and create rust or "patina" would be quite high too. It would be nearly impossible to recreate what vandals, mother nature and time have done to this vehicle. I can arrange shipping of this beast for you if need be. It is still located in North Dakota so I will need time to go get it and bring it back to Bozeman Montana when it sells. I have plenty of reasonably secure outdoor storage here if you or a friend are planning a trip to beautiful Montana some time in the next year or so.
