Description: Acoma 'Sky City' Bird Pottery Bowl Basket with Hand;e c. 1930This was acquired at the Old Barn Auction in Ohio in 1985 from a collection of Anasazi and Pre-Columbian pottery being auctioned from an estate. The double bird pattern is quite interesting with basket like marks in the handle and the bird heads that seem to represent a Road Runner. This piece had gotten included and was not pre-Columbian.This was recently identified as Acoma Sky City Pottery around 1925-1930. The pictures describe the bowl because this is the actual pottery bowl you will receive. Please note that your shipping is free. Please consider that in the price as others sometimes sell items with very high shipping, so you actually may be paying more.
