Description: Michel De Gallard French Cityscape 1921-2007 MCM Abstract Artist Enhanced Print. Fabulous mid century abstract realistic French Parisian cityscape. This is a print ( appears to be a screen print but possibly litho) which the artist enhanced by painting in the black trees in the foreground and by originally signing his name in his signature orange-red color. You can feel the textures that confirm these observations. Nice original frame, see marks on back. Was most likely purchased unframed and brought to FL where the framer included the documentation on the back from the original print. 30” x 22” total overall dimensions. Great colors and feel. De Gallard ( 1921-2007) was a French painter and member of the School of Paris and LaRuche. He was associated with Bernard Buffett and Bernard Lorjou with whom he founded the anti-abstract Art Group “L’homme Temoin”. Shipping may vary depending on final destination. Thanks for looking!
