Description: The Mexico 1,000 Pesos Banknote was issued by the Bank of Mexico in 1984 as part of the series VP. The banknote has a color combination of brown, green, purple, and red. Featured on its obverse is Juana de Asbaje y Ramirez de Santillana with her hand on an open book. The reverse depicts the bank guilloche and the church and fountain in Plaza de Santo Domingo (Santo Domingo Plaza in Mexico City). It also reflects the bank seal.
