Description: Hand Sewn Medicine Bag with Turtle Shell Amulet (Comes from Red Earred Slider Turtle NOT ENDANGERED). Medicine bags are used to hold ofjects that are Sacred to You. I have designed and hand sewn this medicine bag out of soft buttery Deer leather. I have beaded around the flap of the bag with #6 glass beads and clam shell waupum. On the flap of the bag is an approx. 2 " x 1 1/2" Turtle amulet that I have sewn on with glass beads and brass tins hanging from it.The bag measures approx. 2 3/4" wide by 3" long with the flap being the same size. There is a leather thong approx 20" each side attached to the bag so you can wear it around your neck. The color of the leather is smoke color, it may be a little lighter or darker than shown in picture.
